This work developed from the artist’s love of the East coast of Australia, an attention to the tides and currents, explorations from rocky outcrops and observations of aerial photos.

Telling the story of shifting sands through shape and line, the force, beauty and energy of nature constantly reshaping our landscape and surroundings is captured. This abstract work communicates the essence of coastal waters through the chosen hues which are representative of the views from Noosa National Park. The colours combined with the flow and ebb of the lines, allow for the calm and tranquility of water and sand moving during summer days at the beach to be expressed.
