Description

Limited Edition – 100 only

Fitzroy, being the earliest suburb of Melbourne, has many Victorian Terrace Houses. Most have survived modernisation but Street Art has had a transforming effect on this architecture. Backstories of Taggers and their tags are to be found online including prolific taggers ‘Pork’ and ‘Nost’, found on this wall. A comedic Birthday wish on the corrugated iron fence is one of my favourite Graffiti tags from this trip. I’ve been accurate in the depiction of the graffiti as it is important to the painting, although the tagging will continue to evolve. The season of my visit was autumn and the foreground tree was flushed with colour and Autumn leaves made a wonderful rustling carpet.
