Description

“Champs de Lavande” is a “Trompe L’oeil” which captures the vibrant and tranquil atmosphere of a rural landscape, typical of “Provence” in Southern  France. With neat rows of lavender stretching towards the horizon and a warm, colourful sunset sky, the scene is viewed through an open rustic window. The perspective from ground level gives a sense of immersion in the scene, and the inclusion of an ancient village in the distance adds a touch of historical charm.
