Interpretation of the person of Jesus Christ. This painting is a part interpretation the "lion and the lamb" passage in Revelation 5:5-6. The Lion and the lamb both refer to Jesus Christ. He is both the conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah and the Lamb who was slain. Fulfilling the prophecy of Genesis 49:9 as a perfect sacrifice for the sin of the whole world. I painted this live in a passover service.
