Nundle’s landscape is reflected multiple times in the chrome grill of a 1947 Chevrolet truck. Chrome has the ability to replicate the scene that surrounds it. Mirror like, with the added feature of the surface not necessary being flat, but rounding and able to portray a landscape that hence has the ability to exhibit so much more. The new compositions are often multi-faceted and distorted, independent from the original scene.

I was able to portray a number of landscapes on the same canvas. We discovered this 1947 ‘Lend Lease’ Chevrolet truck in front of the last working wool mill in Australia, located in Nundle, New South Wales.
