I'm a Grafton girl, so Jacarandas will always have an incredible resonance for me. I particularly love how they look against a bright, pale, cloudy sky, when the fragrance envelopes you and the complexities of dark branches are completely indecipherable. Under a jacaranda tree, whatever the season, has always been a place of comfort to me.
