A young African cheetah has paused for a few minutes during a patrol through his hunting grounds. Permission was granted by Paul Fine to use as a reference the photograph the photograph he had taken of the cheetah. I created the original artwork with acrylic paints on a stretched canvas during a Christmas season, hence the free-style red and green decorative border around the backlit image of the cheetah.
