Milk and cookies

The light is different everywhere you go… my wife and I went on a little holiday to Stanthorpe and stayed in a charming cabin near the bush.  At this time, we were living in a house that was quite dark, so it was nice to see the lengthening rectangles of light coming through the windows all afternoon.

I bought an old-timey bottle of milk and some melting moments from a local café (Brinx Deli and Cafe) and a bright yellow tablecloth at the cabin completed the scene. Once the sun had set we had a little fire in the wood stove which made the cabin cosy and homey. Add to that a couple of melting moments and a hot cocoa made with fresh local milk and you have yourself a perfect little holiday.
