peut être means ‘maybe’ in French. (French looks cool doesn’t it?) I was thinking about parallel worlds/dimensions when I was painting one day and took a break from my usual still life themes to create something that expressed what I was thinking about.

I won’t go into the theories of parallel lives here, you can always google that; but the sentiment ‘Maybe’ is about the small choices we make that cause us to go in one direction or the other and what could have been had we chosen an ever-so-slightly different choice, multiplied infinitely.
