It was through my father I developed a love of The Otways in South Western Victoria. I grew up not far from there and have fond memories of family times spent in the bush whether it be picnics or just drives. I love the tall timber, ferns, smell of eucalypt and fresh air.

Tree ferns grow strongly in the more southern areas of the Otways and this is one of a series of four. I have always loved black and white with a highlight of colour and this is graphite with coloured pencil.
