Limited Edition Reproduction of 100 Only

Sometimes we don’t know what direction to go in life.

We were on a P&O cruise and while in Cairns I came across this twisted street sign. I was inspired to do this artwork because I couldn’t work out what direction I wanted to go with my artwork. I already had an ability to do photorealism artworks, but wanted to loosen up and discover my own style and technique.

The twisted sign represents different directions and all the twists and turns you can take in life before discovering your desired destination. I haven’t put any wording on the signs as the path may lead to a goal, but it may change again when new adventures, challenges or paths are set.

This artwork has deep dark bends and bright light corners to represent the highs and lows in life as you navigate your path and as you get closer to a goal the light shines brighter. The background of oranges, yellows and reds are like a beautiful sunset at the end of each day. These colours reflect onto the sign.

I feel this artwork would suit a counsellor’s office or medical centre. It is beautiful yet intriguing. You can interpret the artwork in many different ways and make it your own. This art would brighten up any wall.
