I had loads of fun painting this piece. Playing with colour palettes and letting my imagination take hold of the sky and sea. The flock of Oyster catchers soaking up the early morning sun rays adds a pop of life to the canvas. The Oyster catcher is another favorite coastal sea bird of mine. This painting brings back great childhood memories of going fishing with my younger brother early in the morning before day break. It reminds me of the feeling of cold salt water spray blowing onto my face.
