The lorikeets in my garden love to hang upside down and eat the blossoms from trees. This lorikeet is having a late afternoon snack before flying off to bed. Through the use of multiple layers of texture, richly coloured inks and acrylic paints, I’ve captured the sumptuous golden glow of the late afternoon.
