This is one of a series of prints drawn from the Warrumbungles National Park in New South Wales, Australia. The shadows on the smooth white trunks of the trees give the trees volume; this is accentuated by the sparse undergrowth and rocky soil seen between the trees. The colour scheme transitions up the work from warm to cool. A close look reveals a few bright red leaves that stand out strongly against an otherwise muted temperate forest colour palette.
