An odd perspective, but on our recent trip to the red centre, I saw trees hanging off sheer walls and cliffs all over. The striking landscapes, with their characteristic russet reds and big blue skies, boggled my mind.. How does this beauty that exists despite such harsh conditions?  How on earth do some plants come to be? How could a seed take, grow…and despite the odds, thrive? This spoke to me: put simply – it’s tenacity.

Extrapolate that to human nature: the phenomenon that is our great national trait: good old Aussie Tenacity.  We are renowned for picking ourselves up time and time again, challenge after challenge. Tenacity gives Aussies the edge.

Perhaps this work is ‘just a landscape’ with a unique perspective: but in truth, this is my nod to Aussie Tenacity.
