Daintree Surprise is a window to the magical wonderland that is our beautiful rainforests. Calming yet intricately busy, lush and delightful, alive with colour and activity… This intuitive piece began with cooling colours, my mind being drawn to tropical turquoise, teal and pink. What evolved was a rainforest escape, reminiscent of those I explore when visiting our National Parks, like the world heritage listed Daintree. We are so lucky to have these ecosystems on our doorstep. We are merely custodians of this unique world – we need to protect it for future generations to enjoy.
