Enid Bullock began painting in acrylics in 2004. She was born in Toowoomba, Queensland, and is now living in Brisbane (as at 2020).
Enid paints happily in a representational style, and loves painting wildcats such as tigers – their expressions seem to display a great range of spirit and emotions, which she endeavours to portray in each of her wildlife portraits.
Landscapes are also a favoured subject for Enid’s acrylic art – for the challenges they present in regard to painting some aspect of land formations, and the living forms and nature they support.
She really enjoys the planning involved in design and composition, and the use of harmonious and contrasting colour, whether for a landscape or a wildlife portrait.
Enid Bullock finds painting to be a wonderful, positive activity, involving continuous, interesting learning, and much enjoyment too.
