Artist Biography

Sharing her time between the east coast, the open road and her home, Josephine Hill often succumbs to the allure of open spaces.

A background in colour design and education influences her unique style as she uses hues to interpret her experiences of a place in unexpected ways. The result is a joyful and dramatic collision of pattern and colour, giving life to the story of the places we share.

Josephine relishes in the joy of watching people fall in love with her work and hearing of the enjoyment her work brings people in their spaces. She understands that when people fall in love with her work that they often have a personal connection with place and her work stirs a deep emotion within.
