Artist Biography

Juanita is an Australian artist who loves to use vibrant, high contrast colours in her creative work. She enjoys being immersed in nature, soaking up the sounds, textures, and colours, and then bringing these to life on the canvas.

Juanita seeks out compositions and movement in her subject that create an emotional response, preferring acrylics to express her style, ranging from realism to abstract.

Capturing images from the natural beauty in her surroundings and painting these to incredible detail serves as a meditation, allowing her a connection to nature and to bring the awe of the natural world to others.
