I have aimed to capture depth, movement and detail in this large floral painting. I wanted to show the different stages of a flower as it moves towards the light. The flower to the right is heavy from the night dew but as the sun light dawns each flower turns towards the light. It symbolises the promise of hope and new beginnings we have with each new day.
