Depicting the flight of birds has long interested me. It's so challenging to try and describe the differing characteristics in the movements of different species; from the darting quickness of parrots to the slow, majestic wing beats of red-tailed black cockatoos. Here, the regal passage of Australian pelicans across Moreton Bay demands my attention and respect.
