This is a small painting capturing an elderly couple enjoying the winter sun on the main beach at Noosa. I liked how they were sitting away from the crowd content just to be by themselves. I also liked how the pandanus palms and shaded area framed them. The shaded area had a stone path and the sunlight coming through the palms gave a great contrast. This painting aims to capture a moment of leisure iconic with Noosa’s beaches.
