I started painting this the day that I heard of Shane Warne’s unexpected death. I loved it when Gillie used the iconic words “Bowled Shane”. One of a series of three beach cricket scenes using the Munsell colour system. I’ve tried to show how colour and value can work together to make up a composition that catches your eye.
