A charcoal portrait study on a wet charcoal base. This was done as a demonstration at an art gallery. The model is from Bribie Island (Qld). I love to use charcoal wet, and play around on the resulting soft tones. This drawing was awarded an Honorary Mention in the 10th International Drawing Biennale.
