Raw and deliberate pencil marks trace the bush trees and glimpses of the cows in the background complete the scene and characterise a stockman and young cowboy in a moment in time. It was just a short drive in the well-used F- Truck across the main road and down a narrow dirt track to a paddock in the bush. The stockman with his broad-brimmed hat talks about seeing how the cattle are doing. With a cold beer in one hand, his lean frame casually blends into the long afternoon shadows. The young cowboy listening perceptively stands by the stockman, regardfully observing the cattle as they gather around. As the sun sets on another day, they have a conversation about the cattle and how they are doing, and what about tomorrow.
