Looking towards Karragarra and North Stradbroke Islands and the sun comes up from Lamb Island is just so beautiful. How could you not paint this scene. I love the way the boats seem to glow in the dark.
This is the fourth in a series of six landscapes looking towards, or at Lamb Island. Other islands shown in the distance are, Macleay, Russel, North Stradbroke and Karragarra. The water is important to everyone who lives on these islands. I find the colours in the water and sky in the early morning and afternoon as so inspirational.
