She brought back a range of different materials, and each piece was rapidly and skilfully woven in to create this amazing piece of engineering. As a female engineer myself, I felt a deep connection with this little hard worker. Meanwhile, her partner would just drop by occasionally to check on the progress, but never once contributed anything to the construction of the nest.

A little female sunbird worked industriously to build this amazing nest, while her partner only dropped by occasionally to view the progress. I could not believe the productiveness and skill of this little female sunbird. I watched her coming back and forth with new material at an unbelievable rate – I don’t know how she found new material so quickly.
