This is a most tranquil scene, the sun is setting in the west and lighting the clouds with its warm glow. You can almost hear the gentle lapping of the incoming tide; all aglow it advances in long shallow wavelets over the sand and beneath these small mangroves standing at the edge of McCready’s Creek, where it joins the ocean at Slade Point, Mackay, Queensland.
