This piece was developed from a previous piece called 'Surrender' and was a turning point in Cheryl's artistic process. His wings symbolise support & strength while being lovingly embraced, he is looking beyond while opening his heart for inspiration and guidance from a higher perspective. Something Cheryl encourages herself to do in times of doubt.

He serves as a beautiful reminder to trust and follow one's passions. This piece is from Cheryl's body of work is titled “Divine by Design”. This body of work represents an aspect of ourselves, with each piece or Angel symbolizing a quality or strength of the divine at work. The artworks are named by the qualities that they emanate with, and that which is within each of us, as we are all Divine by Design.
