One of the great joys of visiting Straddie is to walk from Cylinder Beach around the point to finally stroll along the glorious Frenchman’s Beach. This picture captures the pristine, pale sienna and ochre colours of the sand and contrasts them with the dark burnt umber and bluey-black colours of the rocky headland. The warm green colour in the vegetation and the warm, blue in the upper sky enhance the cool shades in the shadows on the beach.
