Bold and iridescent emerald green underpins this tree-top view of Australian Native Grevillea flowers. Paired with the shapes of Wattle and Callistemon, they make for an unforgettable impact in your home. With many different forms and colours, the spectacularly surprising native flowers of Australia never fail to astonish. Painted using my trademark textured and transparent style, I love how many nooks and crannies there are for the eye to explore. A sense of movement inhabits this painting, the marks of my brushes and knives writ large across the linen canvas. In this work, I have used an iridescent medium to impart glowing moonlight behind the delicate structures of grevillea and gum blossom.
