Vintage classic American 50’s cars; Colourful taxis in Havana, Cuba. Cuba is unique, the people maintain vintage cars from the 50’s and use them for taxis. The cars, mostly convertibles, are painted with vivid colours, as they do not have access to paint as well as parts from the United States. I was drawn to this scene depicting the drivers and their cars awaiting customers, while surrounded by the classical architecture of downtown Havana.
