This painting represents all the hopes dreams and desires sent out to the universe by women longing to become a Mother. The women outlined by white dots on each side represent the spiritual essence of the divine feminine. They are watching down and listening to those wants and needs of these women.
The Silver ferns are a native fern to New Zealand and in this painting represent my Maori culture. The Maori People believed that the silver fern used to live in the sea and was asked to move to the forest to guide the hunter’s and warriors. They used the silver underside of the fern leaves to find their way home. When bent over, the fronds would catch the moonlight and shine a safe path through the forest.
If you believe and it is meant to be the universe will provide. The divine is listening.
