I.M. Pei 1960s townhouse design in the fall, Philadephia.

I visited in early November and sketched with a friend. He suggested I.M. Pei’s 1960s Bingham Court townhouses as a location. I had no idea they existed: A lovely location with evening lights on in the houses, trees shedding their fall leaves, and a 1969 statue by Richard Lieberman (who was instrumental in designing the Iwo Jimo Memorial).

My friend spent the entire time on his phone!
