In the south of the island, under an azure sky and dotted with white clouds, the beaches of red and black sand blend harmoniously with the turquoise blue of the lagoon thus giving, on my palette, this ocher-yellow and orange light. The coast, populated by colonial pines, sometimes shelters a discreet fisherman’s hut which can be guessed by the flight of a few seagulls on a boat at anchor which sways according to the waves.
