Open Edition Reproduction – Love Me Tender – tranquillity and reflections. 

My attention is always drawn to the little details.  Wandering around Potts Point in Sydney with the backdrop of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the many yachts with the reflections weaving through the ripples towards me, my eye was drawn to the foreground and to the simplicity of the little tender casually moored at the slightly skewwhiff jetty.

The original was painted in oils on 50 x 60cm canvas. The gentleness of the ripples is punctuated only by the early morning light glancing off the stern of the tender and the dark shadows hiding beneath the jetty.
