Sunset walks at Noosa, every footstep sending ripples that fade away, father and daughter are engrossed in conversation. Twice a year our large family descends on Noosa beach and three generations reunite.
The sound of the waves breaking on the north facing beach contrast the laughter and the clink of glasses signaling celebrations. Throughout the day, morning walks through the national park are completed, friends drop in, countless coffees and ice creams are consumed, bodies laze on sun-lounges with new books in hand, children challenge parents to bodysurfing, the grandchildren shriek with laughter in the pool.
As the stillness of late afternoon descends, clouds gather over the hinterland, surfers catch the last waves of the day and an afternoon walk along the beach into the sunset soothes the soul.
