The fist barge of the day is bringing the tradies to the islands as the sunrises and the sky catches fire.

This is the first in a series of eight landscapes looking at Macleay and Karragarra Islands and how they look at each other. The water is important to everyone who lives on these islands. Many barges, and ferries come and go each day, but the early morning is the most beautiful and inspires my art.
