Late afternoon on the southern side of Macleay Island and the sun is going down. There is a jetty running out into the passage at the back of a house on Western Road, Macleay Island; with a boat that’s a little sad, laying in the mud. However, the colours from the late afternoon sun filtered through the mangroves, and bouncing off the water was exhilarating.
