Description
I wanted to depict the amazing speed and agility of the polo players and their horses. Using mixed media I wanted to capture the moment as they galloped down the field aiming at the ball in readiness to strike with the mallet at precisely the right moment.
The original painting is 61cmsx92cms on a stretched canvas. I am so very happy with this painting as I feel the colours work really well together and although the players and horses are in action there is still a calmness about the painting as a whole.
