Over A Bottle Of Wine

The first roses from my garden arranged in an onyx vase, an embroidered cushion given me by a dear friend, that reads “Over a bottle of wine many a friend is found”; an odd assortment of wine glasses and an onyx goblet; and a hidden bottle of wine are waiting at the end of the table runner for my friends to arrive. I can hardly wait! In the background is draped my velvety, burgundy coloured rug, which contrasts beautifully with the lighter toned roses, and the golden tones in the onyx vase, goblet and table runner and the warm timber of the table.
