Eventually Atlas and Pleione also became stars, and Orion became a constellation destined to chase The Pleiades constellation across the sky for eternity. In Greek mythology, Pleione is the Mother Goddess of the Pleiades constellation, also known as The Seven Sisters. “Pleione bore seven daughters to the Titan Atlas, who was so busy holding up the sky that he was unable to protect his beautiful daughters from the hunter Orion who was chasing them across the sky.
