Raw Cunning

I am so taken with raw linen canvas that I decided to create a few simple yet stunning wildlife oil paintings.

Raw linen is such a beautiful background colour, very earthy and so I decide to create a few wildlife paintings that are simple yet intricate.I have always been fascinated with foxes ever since i was a child, we always had them sneaking along the hedgerows and trying to get into the chickens and turkeys!

I named this painting 'Raw Cunning' because it depicts the natural ,raw,uncut version of a vixen in the wild and also as it is painted on the raw linen.She is so focused on something ahead ,maybe my chickens but she will be planning a cunning way to get her dinner! The original is 41cmx51cm and is framed in a raw wood frame sealed with danish wax which complimented the whole raw theme.The original is SOLD but you could recreate your own version with a beautiful reproduction!
