I am so taken with raw linen canvas that I decided to create a few simple yet stunning wildlife oil paintings. Raw linen is such a beautiful background colour, very earthy and so I decide to create a few wildlife paintings that are simple yet intricate.

I have always loved Wolves, I find them quite spiritual. I named this painting 'Raw Instinct' because it depicts the natural, raw, uncut version of a wolf in the wild and also as it is painted on the raw linen.The wolf is so focused on its surrounds, always listening and vigilant of any movement. The original is 41cmx51cm and is framed in a raw wood frame sealed with danish wax which complimented the whole raw theme.The original is SOLD but you could recreate your own version with a beautiful reproduction!
