Vast skies over wide farmland enclosed by fences erected by the farmers themselves. This scene was chosen as a subject for art because of the great cloudscape overlooking the farmland below. I find rural scenes particularly appealing because when I was a child, school holidays were often spent visiting cousins on farms.
