Spectacled Monarchs are an Australian bird species. The original painting on linen was able to be painted because of the pain staking work of Birder and film maker Tim Siggs. He allowed me to use the photographic and video footage for inspiration and capture the detail and colours of this Australian bird as accurately as possible.
