First light. A very early morning scene of a jaguar beginning a stealthy search of his environment for any intruders overnight. This is Chincha, a South American jaguar living at Dartmoor Zoological Park in England. A male jaguar weighs between 90 and 120 kg. and its body length can range from three and a half feet to five and a half feet, plus a tail length from seventeen and a half inches to twenty and a half inches. I created the original artwork with acrylic paints on a stretched canvas.
