A bright and detailed depiction of lotuses from buds to full bloom with a soft use of light and water droplets on the leaves. This is a beautiful depiction of lotuses in the various stages of flowering. I wanted to capture the view of the flowers from underneath the canopy of leaves and the gentleness their flowers and leaves evoke. I have used a soft play of light on the flowers and water droplets to express this feeling of serenity. I have also included the large seed pods in my composition to contrast patterns and the changing form of the flower.
