This painting came to mind after I saw a photo of an old derelict building. I created the narrative in my mind immediately and then went about finding a model and a photographer to help me put the whole story together.Fortunately good friends were on hand to make that happen. The excitement for me comes when people who view the painting tell me their interpretation of the scene, and they always do.
