I really love this image. It was inspired by a gorgeous photo from Miss Grey Photography, her page now is mainly Teesh at @Pilbara working dogs. I have had it stashed away in my photo folder named "To Do"… for a few years but it popped up the other day and I am so glad it did cause it is a wonderful image and I so thoroughly enjoyed creating it, feeling the light hearted emotions in the moment and translating them onto a raw linen canvas. Using a limited palette to create the softness and innocence of these brahman calves…..the colours are so rich and true and I feel that I could put my hand on his nose and feel the the wet coldness!
